The Rise of the Blockbuster
Part 1 of a documentary about Hollywood cinema in the 1960s and 1970s.  This section outlines the decline of Hollwyood cinema in the post-war era and considers the situation studios were in by the 1960s.  It then considers how a new wave of filmmakers began to revitalise it, beginning with Bonnie and Clyde (Arthur Penn, USA, 1967).
